I told one of my brothers that I'm a step away from getting a job. He asked where, I told him payless, he said "You don't want to work there. its not a career." I told him "who cares. its a job." "no, you should you join the conservation corps, they'll train you.. blah blah bullshit" I told him "You've guys been on my ass for the passed 10 years about getting a job (I'm 22 years old. do the math), I'm all but confirmed for this job, now you're on my ass about where it is? Go to hell. It was either this or join the army. Which would you rather I be?" "No, you should go apply to 100 places and hope for a call back... blah blah" I said "I did get a call back, I went to 2 interviews with them already." "but you got to write down everywhere you apply..." "I'm 1 step away from getting the job! why do I need to apply anymore?!" "no no. apply here.. apply there..." "I'm finally about to get a job! You've guys been bugging me for the passed years! go to hell!" then I gave him the double deuce to his face and that pretty much shut him up.

I'm serious about joining the army. I was about a day away from signing up then payless called me. It felt like a better choice, but now joining the army and getting the hell away from everybody is sounding better.

I've been invited to go out tonight, but tomorrow, in the morning, really early in the morning, I've got a job interview. First place to call me back, after all the applications I'll filled out, is payless shoe source. I'm just happy to get any interview for any job at this point. I'm not putting them down, dont get me wrong, but of all the places I've applied, this is the only time I've received a call back. Just wish the interview wasn't so early. And after a day I was invited to go out and drink.

Sunday, March 12th

I'm sore. I helped my brother tile a floor in his new house. He's going to rent it out, so he wanted to put tile on this storage/laundry room instead of having it bare cement. So he payed me to help him. We already spent 2 days trying to get it done, and yesterday was the last day he was able to work on it. So we had to finnish. After we put in the tiles, cleaned them off, we had to put in the grout. That was excruciating. We were both hurting after we finished. After 3 days of putting in floor tiles, we were hurting! When I came home, I took a shower, and I couldn't even bend over to clean my legs. I dropped the soap cause i couldn't grip anything. And I was screaming bending over to pick it up. I basically washed my upper half and then got out. When I laid in bed I was stuck. I couldn't move around without my body hurting. After a nights sleep, I'm not hurting as much, but I cant bend too far without it hurting.

If anybody can send me a tub of icy hot and a wash tub, I would appreciate it.

Sunday, March 5th

My bottle opener broke yesterday. It shouldn't come as a surprise to me cause of all the times I've used it. I've noticed it starting to warp and bend everytime I used it lately, yesterday was the final day of its useful life. To make it ironic, it broke opening a non alcoholic drink (apple cider). Good Bye bottle opener. You've served me well in these passed 8 years.
