01/24/2007: "Freakin A! An Update!"
Queen - Fat bottomed girls
I know its been awhile since I made a good update. There has been so much I could write about, but the time to do it, and trying to stop being lazy is another. In the time between updates, I found a room for rent, been here for 2 months. Acording to the lease, then I'm trying to get the hell out of here. Also. Got a girlfriend. Yup. Being dating for about 2 months. We met at Home Depot back in august, talked alot and all that. Then went out, and then got together. We're going to move in together next month. She wanted to move out of the place she was staying. And I want to get the hell out of the place I'm staying, and moving back into my mom's house since being on my own didn't sound all that great.
Soon, me and my girlfriend are going to move into a place together. We went on sunday to check out the place, and on monday I got the call saying we got it. Tomorrow we're going to sign papers and put down half the deposit (we're broke, and didn't think we could pay the whole deposit and first month's rent) Our new landlady was cool and said we could pay half at first, then the rest next month. When we move in we can pay the first month's rent. We get payed the day after we move in, so its all good. Soon I'll try and get my deposit from the place I'm still at now. Hopefully I could get back the whole deposit, but she said that she might take out $50 for cleaning. But this place wasn't clean when I moved in, I spent more than $50 dollars in cleaning supplies trying to make this place habbitable, and it still looks dirty. Also I doubt it would be cleaned when I move out... But on the other hand, somehow we (the roommates and I) ran up a 300 or 400 dollar electricity/gas bill for december. And somehow we have to pay it, so I also feel like she might keep the deposit to go towards the bill. Even though I say I didn't have any part of it.
The new place is a one bedroom with a living room, kitchen, and a bathroom. Good size, but we'll see if we can fit all our crap in there, since we both have allot of crap. Plus we have to go furniture and bed shopping. She's been doing her research and looking at different places and their selection and prices. (I will not go back to ikea unless I have to).
On the job front. I got promoted to floor and wall. Yup, no more collecting carts in the parking lot... in a few weeks. I have to wait for the new people to start and train, then I could go in. They said about 3 weeks till I could start in floor and wall.
I'm sure I'll update this again in a few months. Hopefully less.
