10/01/2006: "Yes I'm still alive. Busy, but alive."
I'm at my aunt's house now. We've been here about a week now. Me and my mom are going to be living here for a few weeks, while my brother gets my mom's house fixed. My aunt said we can stay about 3 weeks, but we all know its going to take longer than that to get the house fixed. My brother said he'll put us in a hotel or something for the remaining time it takes to get the house done. Right now all the windows and doors and crap are torn out and then they're going to tent it and fumigate. Then start working on it.
In work news:
They got me training to be a cashier now. The problem is, I still have to play lot attendant and go to the computer room and train when I am able to get a chance. They said the total time of the tests are 40 hours. I got through about 2 and a half today... and I'll probably be able to get another hour of training in a couple days. I was thinking about it. If at best I can get about an hour of training each work day... I wont be cashier or even out of lot for another month and a half... And by then, who knows, I might forget something down the road and not know how to deal with it when it happens to me. Wish the bastards just put me in an actual department and removed the "lot" department from my schedule. Or even give me adequate time to train in cashiering. We will see how this ends in a few weeks...
